In 2017 there was flooding in the garage & basement during the 2017 flood event.

After which;

A COMPLETE re-construction of the garage and basement were done according to code and regulation. Foam insulation was installed in the garage and basement, a full bathroom with a shower was added, an office space was added, a metal fire door between the
garage and the basement was added, new basement windows were installed, a storage room was built under the stairs leading to the main living area. All electrical and plumbing work that was added or changed was done according to code.

The house went through number of air quality tests during this period and following an ozone decontamination treatment, the air quality in the basement was excellent.
